Tahera Corporation Announces Appointment of Executive Vice President, Operations |

Toronto – April 1, 2004
Tahera Corporation is pleased to announce that Mr. Daniel D. Johnson has been appointed Executive Vice President, Operations. Mr. Johnson (P. Eng., MBA) is a seasoned mining executive with extensive experience in mine development and operations in remote locations.
Mr. Johnson was employed with BHP Billiton PLC for 16 years from 1981 to 1997, where he worked in various senior management positions throughout the world. His last position with BHP until 1997 was as Project Manager, Mine Development for BHP Diamonds where he was responsible for all aspects of the development, engineering and construction of the Ekati mine, Canada’s first diamond mine. The Ekati mine construction was completed in 1998 safely, on time and under budget. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Johnson was President and CEO of Diamond Fields International Ltd., following which he operated his own consulting practice in the mining industry.

Subject to receipt of regulatory approval and completion of project financing, Tahera plans to commence construction of the Jericho Diamond Project in early 2005.
