Mini-bulk Sample Program Planned on Tahera's Anuri Kimberlite - ICE Claims Returned to Tahera

02/19/2003

Rockinghorse Property
Tahera is very pleased to announce Kennecott’s commitment to collect a mini-bulk sample (minimum 2.5 tonnes) of the Anuri kimberlite during the upcoming Spring 2003 exploration program.

The significantly diamondiferous Anuri kimberlite was discovered on the Rockinghorse property in 2001. Tahera is encouraged by both the diamond results reported to date (see press release dated August 22, 2002) and the size potential of the kimberlite.

Several unresolved kimberlite indicator mineral trains exist on the highly prospective Rockinghorse Property. In addition to the Anuri kimberlite mini-bulk sample program, further exploration in being planned.

Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc. (a member of the Rio Tinto group of companies) is the operator of the Rockinghorse Property joint venture. The joint venture agreement provides Kennecott with the option to earn a 25% interest after expenditures of $25,000,000, and a 62.5% interest in the property by funding all costs up to a mine development decision, before 2008. Further details regarding the 2003 exploration budget will be announced in due course.

ICE Claims
BHP Billiton has notified Tahera that it is withdrawing from the ICE Claims joint venture. Tahera will compile and review all available technical data from the property to determine the future work program. Tahera will entertain joint venture proposals from other parties with respect to the property.

Michael J. Michaud of SRK Consulting is Tahera’s qualified person for its exploration programs.
