Tahera Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. David Tyrwhitt as a Director of the Company. Dr. Tyrwhitt (PhD Geology, FSEG (USA), FAusIMM, CPGeo, FIMM(London)) has over 40 years experience in the mining industry.

Dr. Tyrwhitt began his career in 1959 as a diamond exploration geologist with Williamson Diamonds, a subsidiary of De Beers. David joined Newmont Mining Corporation as an exploration geologist in 1966. He was responsible for the discovery of the Telfer gold mine in Australia in 1972, and went on to become the founding CEO of Newmont Australia Limited (1984 to 1988). From 1988 to 1991, he was CEO of Ashton Mining Limited, Australia. During this period, he also served as Deputy Chairman of Argyle Diamond Sales, which marketed 25 million carats per annum of rough diamond production and had annual diamond sales totalling approximately US$350 million. Since 1991, Dr. Tyrwhitt has worked as a mining consultant on a number of international mining projects.

Dr. Tyrwhitt's extensive diamond industry experience will be extremely beneficial to Tahera Corporation as the Company continues to develop its Jericho Diamond Project in Nunavut, as well as its other diamond projects in the Slave Craton.

Tahera Corporation is focused on developing its highly prospective diamond projects in Canada's prolific Slave Craton.
