Tahera's Anuri East Kimberlite is Significantly Diamondiferous

11/01/2001

Toronto – Thursday November 1, 2001

Tahera Corporation is pleased to report that the Anuri East kimberlite, located on the Rockinghorse Property in Nunavut, is significantly diamondiferous.

The Rockinghorse Property, located approximately 120 km northwest of Tahera’s Jericho Claims, is held under the Tahera / Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc. joint venture. Kennecott, a member of the Rio Tinto Group of companies, is the operator of the joint venture. Pursuant to the joint venture agreement, Kennecott can earn a 62.5% interest in the property by funding all costs on discoveries up to and including a production decision.

The Anuri East kimberlite lies immediately east of the diamondiferous Anuri kimberlite that was discovered in July 2001. In order to evaluate the kimberlite further, additional diamond drilling is planned beginning in February 2002.

Caustic fusion analysis of Anuri East drill core performed at Kennecott’s diamond laboratory in Thunder Bay, Ontario returned the following preliminary results:

The fall 2001 exploration program, which was focused on an area within a 20 kilometer radius of the Anuri kimberlite, consisted of an extensive airborne magnetic / EM survey and a gravity program. Several kimberlite targets are emerging as the data is being processed.

A full review of the kimberlite targets is ongoing in preparation for an aggressive exploration program that is scheduled to commence in February 2002. The primary goal of the program will be to increase the kimberlite resource in the area, and continue to evaluate the economic potential of the existing Anuri kimberlite bodies. Approximately 25 kimberlite targets will be tested during the program.
