Update On New Kimberlite Discovery - Ice Claims |

Tahera Corporation ("Tahera") has been advised by its joint venture partner, Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc. ("Kennecott"), that two holes have been completed on the new "Vega" kimberlite, located on the Ice Claims in the Northwest Territories.
The vertical discovery hole intersected kimberlite from 17 meters to 61.8 meters, and the second hole, drilled at a 45 degree angle, intersected kimberlite from 47 meters to 94 meters.
The kimberlite core has been sent to Kennecott's laboratory for caustic fusion analysis to determine if it is diamondiferous. Results from the analysis should be available within the next few weeks. Kennecott will continue to drill additional kimberlite targets on the Ice Claims and the Rockinghorse Property before the current exploration program is completed in May 1999.
