Tahera Diamond Corporation (TAH:TSX) is a Canadian-owned diamond mining company headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. Tahera’s wholly-owned Jericho Diamond Mine located in Nunavut, commenced commercial production in July 2006.

Tahera entered into creditor protection in January 2008 and mining activities were suspended at the Jericho Diamond Mine in early February 2008.

The future activities at the Jericho Mine will continue to be assessed in the context of the overall corporate restructuring.

As stated in the March 20th 2008 press release, the Company has retained the services of Blair Franklin Capital Partners Inc.  Blair Franklin will be contacting potential interested parties in order to solicit expressions of interest leading to the sale of the company in whole or in part.   Blair Franklin Capital Partners Inc. is a Toronto-based independent financial advisory firm.

The Company's exploration activities have been focused on its prospective landholdings in the region that is within economic trucking distance of the Jericho processing plant. An exploration alliance with De Beers on the lands neighboring the Jericho property ties directly into this strategy.
